Women's Mary Janes

What defines a mary jane shoe?

Mary janes are recognised by one or more straps across the instep, usually secured with a button or buckle. This design has been a wardrobe staple for over a century, offering a secure fit that works across flat, low heel and high heel options.

How do you style mary janes?

Mary janes pair naturally with midi skirts, tailored trousers and dresses of almost any length. Their structured shape adds a considered, vintage-inspired finish that works across smart-casual, professional and weekend settings.

Are mary janes comfortable for all-day wear?

The instep strap holds the foot securely, reducing the slipping and rubbing that can occur with unstructured slip-ons. Diana Ferrari builds each pair with cushioned footbeds and supportive soles for lasting comfort.
